Church organ recording
Virtual Pipes is a company where quality and service are of paramount importance. We guarantee high quality sound recordings and are specialized in taking care of church organ recordings on location for concert registration, demo or CD production. Virtual Pipes only uses high-end recording equipment, microphones and stands (including RME, DAV, Audient, Gefell, MicW, Schoeps, Audio Technica, Neumann and DPA). Equipment overview (.pdf)
Sound post-processing
Editing (editing) and mastering - finishing the sound mix to a total sound - is done in Virtual Pipes' own studio. Once a recording has taken place, the process is only partially completed. The recording still has to be edited and mastered (for example for the CD). The (multi-track) recordings are recorded on location in 24-bit quality. Editing is done entirely digitally with 32-bit resolution: the quality of the recording data remains optimal.
We also use special software to apply sound corrections afterwards. For example, it is possible to remove disturbing ambient noises without affecting the desired signal. We use our own high-quality algorithm for noise filtering.
CD production
We can provide a CD production from A to Z. For us it is important that the CD offers an optimal balance between the characteristics of the recording space and the final recording. The layout of the CD also receives a lot of attention. CDs have to be sold, so they just have to look good and contain sufficient supporting information. Despite the high quality standard, we are able to provide productions at very competitive rates. Download our price example (.pdf) or contact us for a targeted no-obligation quote.
